Based out of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, Shane Signs is a full-service custom sign company primarily serving the greater Boston area. The owner, Bob Shane, has worked for more than 15 years in the sign industry and has manufactured thousands of signs in a wide variety of mediums and styles for hundreds of clients.

What About Bob?

Bob designed his first sign at the ripe age of 10. His materials included cut-out letters from his mother’s gardening magazines, a glue stick swiped from his school, and a piece of old perforated printer paper salvaged from the recycling bin of his dad’s home office. It hung for approximately one week on his bedroom door, loudly declaring to all those who walked by that this was “Bob’s Room: Enter at Your Own Risk.” The message was clear and it was compelling.

But in all seriousness, Bob’s knowledge of the latest sign fabrication technologies and extensive experience in the industry is what characterizes his level of craftsmanship above the competition. His clients enjoy his good-natured sense of humor, his natural proclivity to think outside the box when it comes to creating custom designs, and his dedication to always do a job well done, from the initial site evaluation to the final installation.
